Iona Holiday Home
Iona, Christian Holiday House is situated in the Scalby Mills area of the spa town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
It is close to the Sea Life Centre, North Bay, Cleveland Way coastal walk and there are a couple of local pubs that serve meals closeby.
The town centre is just an easy car ride away though Iona is also close to a local bus route.
The North York Moors, Pickering, NYM Railway, Goathland and Whitby (Locations for "Heartbeat" and "The Royal") are within easy driving distance and the city of York is only an hours drive or train journey away.
Iona is a 1930's semi detached 3 bedroom house with an extension to the rear which forms a breakfast kitchen opening on to a large patio area. Steps lead to a south facing lawned garden. The house has gas central heating, a gas cooker, microwave as well as a television.
There is one double bedded bedroom, one twin bedded room and one single bedroom. The spacious bathroom houses a separate shower cubicle in addition to the bath, wash basin and toilet.
In the sitting room area there is an electric fire to keep you cosy, television and a wonderful table that can be used for puzzles or games. (we have a selection of those to use) also several books are to hand. There is a separate utility area that houses a fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Street parking is available outside the house and parking for one small car on the driveway at the side of the house. There is a secure, locked storage for cycles and fishing gear in the garage.
This is a totally non-smoking house and is not suitable for pets and unfortunately we cannot accept bookings for children under the age of 8yr old.
